All through the courses on EFI tuning, you've been referring to air flow in CFM or g/sec... and now you are talking about HZ, did I miss something. Where in the EFI tuning course do you talk about measuring HZ?
Can you link to the video/discussion forum in question? Hz is normally referring to the number of samples taken per second - the scanning frequency.
A Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor often has an frequency interface (as opposed to a voltage inferface you may be familiar with) -- so the frequency (measured in Hz) changes with the g/sec or CFM. The translation table (or transfer function) tells what the g/sec should be for a given frequency (Hz).
