Hi. I have a question about the fuel injectors. I have just purchased some new injectors, that have the information listed below.
With the MAF sensor, fuel pump, and injectors information mentioned below. Are these considered a bigger injector?
I don't have any information on the stock injectors.
The air intake is a cold air intake, but it's at the stock 2 inch diameter.
Will I need to tune the ECU with these modifications?
Fuel injector information
Flow rate: 440cc/min, 42lbs/hr @ 3 BAR
High Resistance (43.5 psi)
Length: 48mm
Top O-ring: 14 mm
Warranty: 1 year
Flow matched to within 1-1.5%
Dead time test on 12 volts
All Fitments:
2002-2006 Nissan SE-R Spec V / QR25DE
Fuel pump information
Flow Rate: 255LPH (liters per hours) or 67.36 gallons per hour
MAF sensor information
The advantages are the the JET MAF is not as restrictive as the STOCK MAF. The stock unit is severely hindered in air flow reporting to the computer and at what rpm range. By telling the computer it is receiving larger air flow and from lower rpms it in turn advances fuel to compensate.
You will need to know the information on your stock injectors. The new injectors will have to be calibrated in to the ecu data so it will run and started.
Almost definitely.
You don't say what the original vehicle is - model, year, etc - but there should be some sort of number on the current injectors somewhere, or the OEM data available on-line.
Sorry. The vehicle is a 2006 Nissan Sentra Se-R Spec-V. 2.5 engine with manual transmission
I have been unable to find the OE specifications in the fuel injectors
The stock injectors are supposed to be good enough for my modifications.
