ecu flash and defs

Hello i have a sti version 11 same as above however i did not connect any connectors and the tactrx read the file but states no ecu definition. This is urgent pls help. thanks

It can be an issue with some ROM IDs. The best advice I can give you at this stage is to find the ROM ID from your read (you will be able to see this under the ECU information even without a definition), then search for the relevant XML file on subaru enthusiast forums (there are plenty). This is not always successful for some of the more obscure market ROMs though. It may also be worth considering ECUEdit which is a small cost as they seem to offer more definitions than ECUFlash.
