Im having trouble to follow your procedure of in my HP tuners window.
I was unable to locate the airflow vs period table under the speed density tab, and I looked thoroughly through the airflow tabs to find something similar. I understand my vehicle is not a ford truck and is a FORD Focus ST, but I am failing to see a similar method with what the options I have in the software. Are you familiar with reiterating this process on a 2018 Eco boost ECU? I was hoping they would be perfectly similar but there are some discrepancies.
Basically, in short, what's the best way to use the percentages of my STFT % corrections to readjust the air flow calibration? I cant find the appropriate table to use this process on.
Could you post an .HPT file from your ECU? We could then take a look and advise.
heres my hpt file
I don't envy you folks working with modern OEM ECUs without full documentation.
I agree there doesn't seem to be a MAF translation from frequency or period to Mass Air Flow. The section Engine->Airflow->Generarl->MAF Calibration is where I would expect to find a link to a table that you would adjust. Perhaps HPTuners has just not decoded this table, or not made it available due to the way the ECU operates.
I looked at your tune in VCM Editor, and it looks like this ECU is essentially in full-time closed loop mode. You can set the lambda targets for Wide Open Throttle (WOT), Under Engine->Fuel->Power Enrich->WOT Lambda (Gasoline) and WOT Lambda FFV (Flex Fuel), and I bet it does a real good job of hitting those targets.
Sorry I can't help more. I suspect your best support will come from the HPTuners Forum. Here is a search for "Focus ST", but some of those Ecoboost threads seem like they would be helpful.

Sounds like most tuning with this platform involves fixing torque limits (LPSI limits found under Engine->Torque Management->General) needs adjusting if you are adding power.
Good Luck, sorry I can't help more.
@David Ferguson,
Thank!!!! I'm sure this advice I find extremally helpful and I appreciate when you show me the step by step in clear print. this is perfect.
"MAF translation from frequency or period to Mass Air Flow. The section Engine->Airflow->Generarl->MAF Calibration"
Like I diont already have enough trouble learning the program jk
"Wide Open Throttle (WOT), Under Engine->Fuel->Power Enrich->WOT Lambda (Gasoline) ...."
Yes I think this could be something important, alothough a smaller chart. Ill figure something out IM sure , Yeah more hp tuners specialized blah blah application shortcut? idk. ThNKAS
DaVID,
What should I do with this powern richment table for WOT Lamba? MAX it out????
The coolant temperature of the eninge shouldnt dictate my lambda value coorect ?
Up to what extent should laMBA value influence ? Or rather...
How can I use this chart to avoid closed loop function ? Max It Out?
