I am going to be installing a twin turbo kit on my LS3 Camaro this winter. A base tune was provided with this kit and the instructions were to copy over key tables into my current tune. What tables are "key" to be copied over when going from a stock LS3 to twin turbo? I will provide the tune files.

There will be quite a few table to be changed but the important ones would be anything related to injectors (assuming you're changing injectors to same size as the base map) Speed density or VE tables, torque management, DTC's for MAF etc, High and low octane and any spark compensations. Also if you're changing your map sensor you will need to change your sensor calibration.

Easiest and best way to learn would be to do a compare and look at all the tables which are different and have a look at the table info at the bottom.

If you have a go and are still unsure then, worst case I am happy to do it for you.

Thanks for your advice. I did a comparison and copied over quite a few tables. Ill attach a new revision of my tune if you wouldn't mind giving it a glance compared to TT-Tune-1. After re-reading my first I realized that it was a little misleading. My original tune is not 100% stock. My car was tuned by a local shop for long tube headers if that affects anything.

Happy to have a glance, although I downloaded your "Base" and "Rev" files and did a comparison and it seems they are identical. By any chance have you accidentally saved the base onto the rev file? or upload the wrong map?

I apologize for any confusion. The AGP Base file is the file that came with my TT kit. TT Tune 1 is my "base" file and TT Tune 1 REV A is the file I copied the maps over to. I renamed my base tune to clear things up. These are the two files to be compared. Thanks for your help!

One question I have is on the values for Dynamic Airflow High RPM Disable/Re-enable. The values in my tune that was done by a local dyno shop previously are Disable:4000/Re-enable:3900 which matches a stock tune that I got from the hp tuners repository, The values in the tune file I received from the manufacture of my turbo kit are Disable:400/Re-enable:300. Wouldn't this be disabling the speed density portion of the tun all the time? Does this seem right?

Yes, setting the dynamic airflow values like this will run the PCM purely off MAF. This isn't uncommon and you 'can' get acceptable results. Essentially it's cheating and will get you a tune completed faster. Many tuners will go about it the other way and run the PCM purely in SD or use the 1 bar SD patch - There's no right or wrong way of doing it and it comes down to personal preference and how the car drives.

If you want the tune to be as accurate as possible in the way GM intended then you need to tune both the MAF and SD sub systems and use the blended model.
