Just trying to confirm on the whole scaling concept. The MAF Error line should be about as steady (straight) as possible, correct? And in the places you adjust maf scaling would be where the MAF Error and AF correction "agree" with eachother? Where both lines on the graphs go the same way?
The MAF error is calculated from the AFR/EQ error so they're essentially the same thing. The aim is to get the error as close to zero as possible - Realistically if we're within +/-2-3% then that's about as good as you need to be though and the STFT + LTFT will work to get the AFR onto the target and eliminate any remaining error.
