So adjusting the MAF curve airflow (g/s) vs voltage is adjustment of current the mass airflow values using the total trim indicated. I am using mega log viewer's histogram and looking what the trims are at various MAF voltages (have the input the same cell values for MAF voltage as came out of the stock ROM). I have made sure to only use relatively steady state data with significant number of samples in the cells I am adjusting. For closed loop this appears to be for MAF output voltages < 2.8v. However, never saw an example of the expression used to take the trims and adjust the mass flow curve. Is this reasonable:
New Airflow = Old_airflow * ( 1 + %total trim / 100).
So for a -ve total trim the New Airflow number is less that the previous one and if + trim then the new air flow number is higher
Thanks
