When tuning the maf scale up to 7200HZ what sort of load should i be looking at when running it on the dyno in steady state

Mr Forza,

What vehicle are you working with? Because the frequency is based on air flow and each individual manufactures calibration there can be a huge difference across all manufactures.

Because you have said HZ (Most manufactures base it on Volts), you're from Australia and you picked the number 7200 (Which is an exact cell on most MAF tables for LS motors) Im going to assume you're talking about a Holden with an LS motor?

The Holden I tuned yesterday with an L77 , at 7200hz during a power run from memory I was at around 3000-3500rpm at WOT (100KPA)

HI

Am working with a Maloo R8 2013. working with re scaling the maf up to 7200HZ not in WOT

Froza,

So you're wanting to rescale the MAF up to 7200hz?

I generally do the WOT maf scaling on the dyno and the Lower load stuff on the road. Only because most of the Holdens have OTR intakes and the MAF at lower loads can get upset by the dyno fan.

If you decide to do it on the dyno I would just start at around 2000rpm and light throttle and increase throttle and monitor STFT.

I would expect you to reach 7200hz at around 3200rpm and maybe 50% TP
