when tuning MAF, why choose 7000Hz as a breakpoint?

7000 Hz is not a set in stone rule and will vary depending on the engine and MAF output. What we're looking for is a sensible point that we can reach under both steady state and ramp runs. For example I'd try and choose a point that I can easily reach and exceed in steady state, but also will be below when i start doing a ramp run. This just allows us to fully calibrate the MAF table.
