I didn't understand how the mesured MAP is logged? Why is it on the dyno scan? How do you mesure the MAP if there is no MAP Sensor? How the speed density work if there is no MAP sensor?
Many dynos have a MAP sensor, and you connect this to a manifold pressure source on the engine while testing. This allows the dyno to know (and log) the load/boost.
An ECU will need a MAP sensor to run in a speed density configuration.
