Vehicle : GMC Youkon 2011

tools : MPVI3 with ProLink

Gauge & Sensor : AEM X-Series UEGO with 30-2404 sensor

i am facing few problems while logging vehicle, first thing my gauge reading and laptop reading are different i selected aem 30-4110 in transform list. need advise to fix this first. then i have tried to log MAF EQ ratio on the chart but the problem is the EQ ratio hits only first column of the chart which is MAF(Hz) 0. i attached a video and my log file as well please check and tell me what changes i have to make. step by step.

Rahul,

First you've selected AEM 30-4110 which is pre x series and had totally different scaling, so the voltage to AFR/Lambda translations chosen is incorrect for the wideband you have. Be sure to use a x-line translation. 30-0300 is an example x line part number.

In addition, where did you wire the analog + and - wires to?

The - wire (sensor ground) is often forgotten and this causes a ground offset so the voltage received at the MPVI isn't correct, so be sure you have that installed properly as well.

let me explain about my wirings, i have connected prolink red wire to white and black to brown and for 12v took connection from cigarette lighter socket could you please suggest if anything wrong or tell me how i can do connections properly.

also i have attached list of voltage to AFR translations list, please suggest correct one for me.

Rahul,

The wire colors for the connection are correct, thank you you for confirming.

Cigarrette socket sometimes can't provide sufficient power and power ground for a wideband, but that's a separate potential concern, and hopefully it's fine.

So it seems the issue was just the scaling you selected isn't for your wideband. The older AEM you selected had very different scaling.

Select External Input -> AEM -> X-Series UEGO (30-03xx) -> WB EQ Ratio 1

Oky. What about the chart. i try to log for MAF EQ ratio but data hits only one column and how can i solve ? please do suggest

In the histogram if only one cell is populating it's generally because you haven't selected axis values that are logging.

If you want to log the MAF, you use RPM and MAF XY axes for example, and then log MAF as the Z data.

Be sure all monitors you're using in a histogram are valid. You can do so by seeing if they're working in the list at screen left first, then be sure to choose the same monitors when setting up the histogram as many do have similar names.
